
Beetles develop through four stages of growth called Complete Metamorphosis including, egg, larva (grub), pupa (chrysalis) and then finally adults. Beetles eat a variety of foods, mostly plant parts, leaves or seeds or fruit and wood, some eating fungus and dung.
